Castle Saga: Missing Manga part 2

Syia sighed and stretched as she opened the door to her room, slinging her purse onto a chair inside and flopping down on the bed with a large “whoof!” sound as the air was expelled from her lungs. “What a day… the fanboys were even more susceptible to my charms than usual.” Syia kicked her heeled shoes off and rubbed her stocking-clad legs, smiling slightly to herself as her hands passed over the areas that had become worn with the day’s activity. The material covering her soles was nearly nonexistent, scratched and rubbed threadbare by tickling fingers. Making a mental note to wear them again, Syia rolled her stockings off and tossed them into a laundry hamper, then levered herself off of the bed and began to change into a more comfortable outfit.

She had just taken off her blouse and stepped out of her skirt when her door gently opened and closed. Being intruded upon while in a half-dressed state didn’t bother Syia in the least; it was the telling feline smirk on Felin’s face that did. “Felin, you look like you want to play with a mouse beneath your paws. What’s gotten under your fur?” Surprisingly, Felin didn’t answer, causing Syia to take an involuntary step backwards when Felin advanced. Usually Felin teased and teased and teased before making any kind of advance…

Felin only stopped when she had backed Syia up to the wall and placed a hand to either side of her head. “Syia,” she began, her lips curving up in a smirk reserved only for Felin’s most evil thoughts. “Syia, when you came back from work today, and you passed through the anteroom… did you see a manga anywhere?”

“A manga? There are always manga in the anteroom… what are you talking about, Felin?” Syia was trying to seem cool and unconcerned, but Felin’s nails tapping on the walls to either side of her head were very distracting. “Are you looking for any of my manga? I’d be happy to lend you some if you like…”

“I mean my manga,” Felin said, her ears twitching and eyebrows raised. “MY manga, the one I was reading, it was away from the mess and right next to my notebook. Did you see it?”

“No,” Syia answered, finally realizing what Felin was getting at. “I didn’t take your manga, Felin – “

“How did you know I was talking about someone taking my manga?” Felin cut in, showing her teeth in a catlike grin. “I never said anything about losing a manga. Or was that a Freudian slip? Did YOU take my manga and now you’re trying to play innocent? Hmm? I bet that’s what you’re doing, you decided to just pick up the interesting manga you saw laying around without even bothering to see whose it was or if anyone was in the middle of reading it…”

“Whoa, Felin, calm down… you’re being paranoid, Felin, Felin!” Syia called out, bringing her hands up for defense as she saw that Felin wasn’t going to listen to reason, but the motion brought her wrists too close together for a bare second and Felin’s tail had them caught and raised over her head in an instant. Teasingly, slowly, Felin leaned in close to Syia’s ear and whispered…

“Don’t worry, Syia, I’m just going to teach you a little lesson and then you’ll tell me where my manga is… right?” As she withdrew her head, she nipped at Syia’s glasses and held them between her teeth, dragging them off of Syia’s face and then setting them on the bureau next to her.

Syia felt herself being led over towards her bed, and with no time to resist, was guided until she tripped on the edge with a yelp, falling facedown onto her own bed, hands held above her… that changed as soon as she tripped, Felin’s tail pulling them into a more stable position at the small of her back as she felt the warm, furry weight of Felin’s body settle atop her half-dressed one.

“Felin, Felin wait, I can hahaaHAHAHAHAHAAHH!! FELIN!” Syia squeaked in protest as Felin’s nails teased her shoulder blades and the back of her neck. “FHEHEHEHEHE HEHEHEHE FELIN NO HAHAHAHAH DON’T!!” Syia wriggled, knowing what was to come and already trying to fight her urge to laugh hysterically. Felin’s favorite trick was to restrain the arms just like they were now, not openly exposing the underarm like was often done… when the arms were held close to the body, as in this case, the tips of Felin’s nails wiggling between arm and armpit tickled like nothing else…

Felin just chuckled and Syia felt the fingernails slide into the position she so dreaded, causing her to arch her back and get her mouth far enough away from the bedsheets to make her laughing clearly audible. “FHEHEHEHHE EEEHEHEEH EHEHEHEHEHEHE EHEHEHEH PELEHEHEHHE PLE EHEHEH PLEHEHHEEZE DON’T DO THAHAHAT!!!”

“But why not? This is the fastest and most efficient way to teach you a lesson…” Felin giggled, feeling Syia’s body rock back and forth underneath her legs, trying in vain to free herself from the tail which bound her arms and the body which pinned her down. The laughing fell in volume as Felin’s fingers retreated, instead tickling Syia’s upper back, in between her shoulder blades.

“Fheheheheheheeheee Felin I really don’t know anything about your manga! Pleheheheheheheeze! I’m telling the truth!” Syia squirmed, her back trying to wriggle away somehow, and while it was not a very ticklish area of her body, it was also the least able to defend itself from tickling. Syia’s feet kicked and pounded on the bed as she sought to relieve her pent-up ticklish energy. “Heheheheheheeheee!!!”

“Are you telling the truth? There’s one good way to find out…” Felin turned around and stretched out so that she was lying atop Syia, head pointed toward the other girl’s feet. Syia was fidgeting enough when she felt another sensation that made her nearly jump out of her skin.

“PLEASE no!” Syia begged, trying to get free or at least just turn around so she could see her impending torment, but it was futile and Syia was relegated to squirming and giggling, feeling Felin’s tongue explore her ankle. “Felin!!! Please, please don’t!”

“Don’t? Oh, but this a sure-fire way to see if you were lying…” Without any more teasing, Felin craned her head over and lapped at Syia’s soles, concentrating fully on holding them still for her tongue and letting the muffled and not-so-muffled cries of laughter wash over her, making for a delightful background music by which to conduct her work…

“HEHEHEHEEHEHEHEH OKEEHEHEHEHEEHEH PLEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE HEHEHEEHEHEH EHEEEHEHEHHEEHEH STAHHAAHAHAHAAP! IAHHAAHHA AHAHAHA HEHEHEHE!!” Syia tried to beg for Felin’s mercy, but she couldn’t manage any word beyond a syllable.

“Mmm, care to tell me anything about my manga now?” Felin looked back, smirking and licking her lips.

“I… heheeheheh I don’t know about your manga… ebeehehehehe but I did see Rei heading for the hot tub with a manga… I don’t know if it was yours, but… hehehe… but, but… Felin? Where are you…” Syia twisted around and blinked, only catching Felin’s tail snaking out the door before it closed. “Wow, she’s really on a kick about this manga… why could it be so important?”

Felin slipped into the hot tub area, feeling very energetic for some odd reason. Perhaps it was the opportunity to exercise her skills of persuasion once more, an area that always lent itself to her enjoyment. In any regard, Felin breezed through the changing area and into the slightly steamy room beyond which held the large hot tub. There, calmly bathing and relaxing were Ami, Minako and Rei…

“Oh? Felin, it’s so unusual to see you in here,” Ami said with a titter. “I thought you disliked the water…”

“She does,” Minako teased. “It’s like giving your cat a bath, but on a bigger scale.” Minako opened one eye and giggled. “Do you remember the last time –“

“I’m not here to take a bath,” Felin cut in, her garnet eyes scanning the bath quickly and finding their target in just a second. “I’m here for the manga, Rei.”

“This manga?” Rei asked, a slight smirk on her face as she raised her eyes from the manga she held carefully in her hands, turning the page before raising her eyebrow at Felin. “I found it just lying around in the common room and decided to pick it up.”

“It’s MY manga, for your information, as I suspect you know quite well,” Felin said, arms crossed and eyes narrowed. “Give it back to me, now. Or else.”

“Or else what? Ah, ah,” Rei chided, waving her finger as Felin’s tail poised to whip across the space between them. “None of that, or your precious manga takes a little dip…” Rei held the manga perilously close to the water’s surface. “And if you splash around or make a disturbance, the manga’s likely to get wet.”

            “This is blackmail!” Felin hissed.

“Not technically,” Ami put in. “She hasn’t extorted anything from you in exchange for the safety of your manga.”

“You stole my manga.” Felin’s voice was cool, her mind churning.

“And what are you going to do about it?” Rei smirked lightly before turning the page and refocusing her attention on the manga, a hand lazily waving out to encompass the water that stood between her and Felin. Felin blinked and then realized that Rei had probably put some thought into this setup. And if past encounters were any indication, Minako and Ami were under her sway to act as her arms while she did none of her own work…

“Ami and Minako are your stooges in this, aren’t they? Very clever, Rei. You’ve set yourself up in quite an intricately defended position. Very clever,” Felin repeated, pacing along the edge of the tub. “You can direct them to interfere in anything overt that I try, all while taking advantage of my dislike of the water…”

“Ami and Minako under my control? Whatever do you mean?” Rei asked, a frightfully innocent look on her face as one of her hands inconspicuously drifted beneath the surface of the water. A moment later Ami clapped her hands to her mouth and squealed, thrashing around in the water a little bit. No sooner had she stopped than Minako did the same, although her arms flailed about instead of trying to muffle herself.

“You may think you’ve won, Rei, but this isn’t over yet…” Felin abruptly turned and stalked out of the room, her tail curling upward and making a swift, short jab upwards in an impressive facsimile of flipping Rei off. Rei’s derisive snicker in reply followed Felin out of the bath room. Once out in the hall, Felin breathed the cloying steam out of her lungs and gathered her thoughts for a moment before setting off down the hall, determination in her step.

            “Jelex!!!”
