Castle Saga: Missing Manga part 7

Well, Jelex often talked (and thought) a good game, but inherent laziness often impeded her, such was the case now, where she sat with Syia watching television and being quite innocent without pretense, a rarity for her. Then again, their main entertainment was not going to be the television, it was just something to kill time while Makoto hunted for her prey. Makoto’s hunt was frequently interrupted by rushing back to the kitchen to check on her food, and she’d served Syia and Jelex their dinner on the condition they help punish Usagi once found. This was hardly an onerous condition.

“Ahh ha… what have we here?” Makoto said, hauling something up triumphantly. Both Syia and Jelex looked over towards Makoto eagerly, expecting to see Usagi, but they instead saw a pair of white socks.

            “Socks?” Jelex guessed.

“Yes, these are socks, but more importantly, they’re Usagi’s socks,” Makoto said with a smirk. “What does it mean if Usagi’s socks are here on the floor?”

“It means Usagi is… barefoot…” Syia said with a grin. “Makoto, if you wouldn’t mind, sit down for a moment, you’re not going to want your feet on the floor for this.” Makoto wondered what Syia had in mind, but heeded her warning, not wishing to have some kind of invisible psychic torment upon her feet. “Now, I think this will flush our quarry nicely…”

Syia began to concentrate, sending a wave of thought down to the floor, which spread slowly along the floor of the room, although no one but her could see the wave of concentration. What they could see was the carpet seeming to stand on end, like the hairs on someone’s arm when they have goose bumps, yet… Jelex touched a foot to the floor and squealed, drawing it back up. “Ohhh god it tickles!” she giggled, rubbing her foot to rid it of the tickling feeling.

“Hey, wait a minute,” Makoto said with a frown. “This is all well and good, but how can I walk to wherever she is if the carpet’s like this?” The question may as well have been a stone that hit Syia between the eyes, because she suddenly sat up straight and released her control, letting the carpet sag down limply.

            “Oh, well… I… guess I hadn’t thought of that…” Syia scratched her head. “I wonder…”

“Shh!” Jelex grabbed the remote suddenly and muted the TV.  “Listen to that…” Jelex cocked an ear, and although her pointed ears lent her an acute sense of hearing, as the others concentrated on a possible sound, they heard it as well… “Snoring… you think maybe she fell asleep?”

“I wouldn’t doubt it, she can fall asleep anywhere…” Makoto got up, walking softly now lest she wake up the apparently sleeping girl. “Ahh… here we go… she must be under a couch.” Makoto lifted up the dust fringe on one couch and smirked upon seeing a pair of bare feet underneath. “Not bad, Usagi… you get some credit for that one…”

“What’d she do?” Jelex whispered, getting up and tiptoeing with Syia over to the couch in question. All of the tiptoeing and whispering was probably not necessary, as Usagi would sleep through a storm or an entire day if she had the opportunity to do so. “Oh… she got stuck under the couch, I think, and just sort of fell asleep…” Jelex examined the whole of Usagi’s body, pinned underneath a couch. “Hard to believe it, doesn’t seem too comfortable.”

“Whatever,” Syia said with a grin. “We have a golden opportunity here…” Giggling, she and Makoto knelt, and with Jelex holding up the dust fringe, they began to trace their fingernails along Usagi’s soles, stretched tight since her toes were pressed against the carpet.

“Heeheeheehehee…” Usagi snorted softly, her body wriggling to try and move away from the irritation which was gliding along her feet. “Hehehe hehahahah whaahah ahhaah hwahahahaaaaa…” Her body wiggled more, struggles getting stronger as her subconscious realized it had failed to eliminate the sensation with the first reflexive action, and that reflexes might fail entirely in this endeavor… Giggling, then squealing, Usagi began to wake up. “HEhehehHEHEHEHEheHEHEHHEHAHAHAhaHAHAH HEHEHEH HEY HSHAHAHA HAHAHA HWHAHAH AHHA AWHAAAAHAHAA?!?”

“Usagi, why are you hiding under the couch?” Makoto said, grinning evilly as her fingers traced up and down the smooth skin of Usagi’s hyperticklish foot. “It’s not because you were picking at dinner before it was done, now is it?”

Surprisingly, at least to Syia, Usagi didn’t try to deny it. Instead she went right to rationalization of her act. “HEHEHEHE EHEHEHEE HEHEHEEHEHHEAHAHAH I WAS SO HUAHHAHAHA AH HUNGRY AND YOU WOULDN’T GIVE MEHEHEHEHEHHEEH HEAHAHHAAH ANYTHING!!!” Her feet, pinned between the couch and the floor, quivered a bit with the movements of her legs but otherwise remained at the mercy of Syia and Makoto’s fingernails. The couch was rattling quite a bit, so feverish were Usagi’s attempts to get free.

“I told you to wait fifteen minutes and dinner would be done,” Makoto said with a hint of a threat in her voice. “That doesn’t mean steal food before it’s ready, I’m sure it wouldn’t have killed you to wait fifteen more minutes.” To drive her point home, Makoto’s fingers wriggled fiercely just below the ball of Usagi’s foot, driving her into a total hysterical frenzy.

“KHAHAHAH AHAHAH AHAH EHEHHEHE HEHEHE EH AHHA AH AHAH AH AHHA GHAHAHA AHAH AHDHAH AHHAH HEHEEHEH NAHAHAH AHA AHA NONONONO HHEHEHE AHAHAH AHHAHA GHAHAHAHDHAHA HAHA NONO AHHEEH PLEHEHEHEHE HEHEHEH MAKAKAKKAAAHAHAH AHAHHA MAKOTO HAHHAHAHA HAAH SYIA HEHEHEH PLEHEHEHEZE NO!”

Jelex blinked and laughed, feeling the couch rattle and bang. “She might get herself free at this rate… but, keep going, you guys. Let her exhaust her strength against the couch, then we’ll haul her out and she’ll be mostly too weak to resist properly, that’s when the real fun will begin…” Jelex cackled, thinking about making some hands to get underneath the couch and continue torturing Usagi, but she decided it would be more effective if she only ever felt anything on her feet.

Within a few minutes the couch had stopped banging although Usagi was laughing louder than ever. Makoto decided that they should give her a break, and it was time for them to move Usagi to a better spot. Makoto lifted the couch enough that Jelex and Syia could haul her out, although they were careful not to give her a rug burn. Usagi tried to grab onto the couch’s end as she was pulled clear, but quick underarm tickling dissuaded that.

“HEhee! Nooo! Lemme go I learned my lesson! C’mon! I won’t steal food again, Mako-chan!” Usagi cried, her entreaties falling on deaf ears as Makoto went into the kitchen. “What are you doing, Mako-chan? Don’t do anything weird okay? Come on, this isn’t funny!” Usagi wailed as she was dumped onto a chair, wrists and ankles held fast by psychic bonds. Makoto came back out of the kitchen with a fork and the basting brush she used to spread okonomiyaki sauce. Usagi quailed upon seeing these instruments.

Makoto handed the brush to Jelex. “Get her toes real good with this,” she said as she knelt by the chair and worked the lever to bring up the footrest, elevating Usagi’s defenseless creamy soles. The fork began to stroke over Usagi’s arch, Makoto’s fingers finding the toes and wiggling against them. Jelex used the brush to tickle right underneath Usagi’s toes as well. The result made Syia want to cover her ears.

On cue Usagi went into ballistic hysterics, screaming and laughing so loudly and furiously that Makoto had to call a stop after about a minute, chuckling and getting some water for Usagi which she drank down greedily, took another thirty seconds or so to catch her breath, and promptly began to wail again. “Mako-chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! Come on, enough! My feet are so ticklish and – HEHEHEHEHEHEHHEEHEHHE HEHEEHHE HAHHA NAHAHHAHAAH NO NO NYAHAHAHAHA HAAHHA GHAHAHAHAAAA!!”

“So noisy!” Jelex chided, applying her fingers to spread Usagi’s toes and tickle in between them with the brush, making the blonde pigtails whip around so rapidly that Jelex was sure the struggling Syia held in check would have broken all but the firmest bonds otherwise. “Damn, but Makoto doesn’t kid around when she punishes, does she?” Jelex teased, giggling at Usagi.

“You’re all so MEAN!” Usagi wailed once she was given another break, but her continued tirade was interrupted by Felin, who had come out of her lab.

“What on earth could be causing that racket… Oh, it’s Usagi.” Felin giggled as the understanding hit her, nodding as she walked up to the group. “Has anyone here seen Xei? I sent her off a little while ago but she should have come through here… do you by any chance know where she might have gone?”

“She delivered the message,” Jelex said as Usagi shut up and caught her breath, rather sensibly. “Last I saw she was running outta my room with Kiri, and that’s it. No, wait, I think I heard them giggling before I came downstairs… if they’re in a room… well, I dunno,” Jelex finished, letting the thought trail off unvoiced. “Sue me.”

“Hmm… I guess I’ll wait here, then, since there seems to be some entertainment at the moment. Anything I can do to help?” Felin sat down, watching the captive Usagi with her infamous cat’s grin and licking her lips.

“No, I think we’re – yeah, there’s something you can do for us,” Makoto said, swiftly reversing course as she saw Felin lick her lips, prodding an idea into her head. “Wait just a sec.” Giggling, Makoto dashed into the kitchen and procured the jar of okonomiyaki sauce, taking the brush from Jelex and swirling it in the sauce before painting some onto Usagi’s toes, some on each foot. “Bon appetit, Felin…”

“No, PLEASE!” Usagi squealed, starting to giggle already as she knew what was about to hit her, the anticipation made much worse by Felin’s smirk. Felin knew just how to tease, and even if Usagi had been able to move as much as she’d have liked to, that would have made it worse… Felin liked to catch your ankle as you ran away, so that you laid on your stomach on the floor, and your knees were bent so that your feet were in the air, all to the tune of Felin’s nefarious chuckling…

The cat’s tongue on Usagi’s sensitive soles sent her past the limit. She sounded remarkably like a gibbering fool, Makoto and the others noticed, her mouth constantly open and face making all sorts of strange contortions… Felin set about her work with terrible slowness, flicking her tongue once across the sauce to gather a taste with only a light touch, making Usagi flinch and then giggle, before settling in and closing her eyes, tongue lapping gently…

It was too much for the ticklish Senshi and her wild pleading degenerated into a child’s babble. Somehow, Syia found herself transfixed on Felin’s actions, following every move with her full attention… too much of her full attention… suddenly she realized Usagi was kicking and struggling like mad.

Yet even that didn’t deter Felin, who grabbed onto Usagi’s foot and wildly slathered her tongue all over the sole. The release of being able to struggle quieted Usagi’s laughing somewhat, but it was clear that she was still laughing herself to death, until Felin finally cleaned off all of the sauce and released her foot.

“I’m g-gonna die!” Usagi wailed. “Mako-chan, why’d you let them do all of that? I’m so ticklish! You’ve gotta know how bad it is! You get me all the time…” Usagi sniffled, seeing that the routine got her no sympathy from Makoto, only a rueful grin and a shake of the head.

“Usagi, just don’t steal food while it’s still cooking. That’s all I’m trying to say,” Makoto lied, keeping a straight face. The first part, tickling under the couch, had been for stealing some food. The second and third parts, well, those had been just because Usagi was too ticklish not to take full advantage of whenever possible. In any case, Usagi fled the room, running upstairs while still barefoot, probably a bad idea if she happened to run into Kiri or Xei, but those two knew when to lay off, so she’d probably not be in too much trouble…

“Dinner was great,” Felin said some time later, having been fed. “Especially the appetizer.” Makoto giggled and winked.

            “Want seconds?”
